Lawrence W. Reed became President of the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) in 2008 after serving as chairman of its board of trustees in the 1990s and both writing and speaking for FEE since the late 1970s. He previously served for 21 years as President of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy in Midland, Michigan. He also taught economics full-time at Northwood University in Michigan and chaired its department of economics. He holds two honorary doctorates, one from Central Michigan University and Northwood University. Reed has authored nearly 2,000 columns and articles in newspapers, magazines and journals in the United States and abroad. He has authored or coauthored eight books, the most recent being “Was Jesus a Socialist?” and “Real Heroes: Inspiring True Stories of Courage, Character and Conviction”.

CLIENT SERIES EPISODE:
Life took an unexpected turn for Jean that drained out his pension funds and RSP’s as well as max out his credit cards. The lack of control over his investment liquidity and getting taxed on every withdrawal was what moved Jean towards IBC. Jean has now been practicing IBC for the past few years and it has helped him clear off his credit card debts, pay off various household expenses as well as give him hope for the future financially.
Jean is a dedicated family man that has been married to his wife, Shelly for 31 years. He has a daughter that lives in Fort McMurray. He has been a Power Engineer for over 20 years and is currently working as a Training Coordinator for a major oil company looking after the training needs of all the staff at two SAGD facilities near Conklin, Alberta. He currently lives in Edmonton and enjoys many hobbies including golf and music and especially loves all things IBC.

Shaun lives in the Niagara Region of Ontario, where he lives with his wife and two sons. He has been a Youth Worker at a youth detention facility for nearly 20 years. In 2020 he rediscovered the concept while on Twitter, and very quickly went all in learning more. Shortly after that, he was connected with Richard Canfield and started his first policies. Shaun has a passion for helping people learn about personal finance. As a Dave Ramsey trained financial coach, he taught people that “cash is king”. Now that he understands the Infinite Banking Concept, Shaun gets great joy out of showing people that IBC is for anyone, and the truth that CashFLOW is King!
